The Otago Model Engineering Society is made up of 4 main club groups. These groups specialize in the construction and running of their particular modeling or engineering projects. The club can be also hired out for Private Events such as parties, meetings, corporate functions and end of year parties.

All club facilities for members include:

  • Library, a source of knowledge for modeling or engineering projects
  • Club Workshop with lathes, drills and metal press etc.
  • All the group facilities, pond, railway track, layouts etc. are open to use by members at any time

With the annual Festival Week approaching it is a great time to start on a new hobby. Why not join OMES?? Come along to the and see what we do in the club and ask our members questions about our hobby (Sunday open days).

Each new member will receive a tutor (current member) to help them through their modelling.

Phone the president (see below) or come to our next running day (see above) and make yourself known to the members there, and fill out an application form (information to go with application, Note: 2 different pages).
